20mm Road Crush is a compaction material also known as ‘crushed rock’ or ‘road base’ which is comprised of sand & 20mm fractured rock. It is best used as a base under asphalt, concrete, retaining walls, free standing walls & paving stones. Road Crush must be compacted by a plate tamper or other packing equipment to achieve the best results. With a thick enough base (6″ recommended minimum) it can help prevent ground heaving due to frost.
